The Learning Center offers services to support the academic performance of all Elmhurst College students. Sessions are structured to promote principles of effective, self-regulated learning and academic management. Areas of tutoring include math, writing, reading, study strategies, and special test preparation (i.e., ACT, SAT, GRE, TAP).
Students are encouraged to come to the Learning Center at any point of their learning process to work one-on-one or in small groups with a tutor. We are here to help you be prepared and successful in your classes and to help you develop the skills and strategies you need to reach your potential.
In addition, Disability Services is housed in the Learning Center. Elmhurst College will make accommodations for students with disabilities based on the presentation of appropriate documentation. If you believe that you have a disability that may impact your academic success, contact Dr. Corinne Smith, Disabilities Services Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (630) 617-6448. For more information, please visit the Disabilities Services web page.
Fall tutoring schedule to be announced soon.
