Bridge Program – Fall 2017
Access and Disability Services, the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, and the Learning Center are collaborating to offer the Bridge program. Designed to provide support for Elmhurst College undergraduate students on the Autism Spectrum, the program will assist participants as they develop academic success strategies and executive functioning skills. Interpersonal communication skills will be strengthened through small group interaction and individualized mentoring.
The program will provide 15 hours of regularly scheduled student contact-time with professional staff or mentors:
To participate, students must be registered with Elmhurst College’s Access and Disability Services. To ensure the quality of the individualized support, the program will limit the number of participants. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come/first served basis. A nominal fee of $500.00 will be assessed.
