The cyber security program is designed to meet specific academic and practical needs and is intended for students seeking to complete a first or second bachelor’s degree in the field of cyber security.
The major includes ten courses (40 semester hours).
You can complete your major courses in less than two years.
Classes are eight weeks in length and the program is offered within a matrix of course modules that you will complete in a logical sequence.
In addition to completing the major requirements, all students must complete the Integrated Curriculum and elective courses required to earn the degree (32 course credits/128 semester hours).
All courses are taught by the faculty of Elmhurst College. Our faculty has extensive hands-on industry experience and stays current with academic research and trends. Our adjunct faculty reinforces the program’s real-world orientation with up-to-the-minute knowledge of business needs and practices.
You will work with a faculty advisor who will take a personal interest in your success as you proceed toward graduation and beyond.
Although you communicate with professors and peers online, every course maintains the Elmhurst high-tech, high-touch spirit. Classes are small, so professors are able to devote the same high level of personal attention to each and every student.
Program Directors reserve the right to admit students under the age of 24 who are qualified to meet the rigorous requirements of a degree completion program.
