Elmhurst College offers an undergraduate-level certificate program in cyber security, offered entirely online through the Elmhurst College Online Center. The certificate program in cyber security is comprised of five existing courses from the accelerated major in cyber security. Students who complete the five courses for credit will receive the certificate in cyber security, or they may complete an additional five courses, in addition to Elmhurst’s Integrated Curriculum, to earn a bachelor’s degree with an accelerated major in cyber security.
Certificate Program Course Requirements
If a student chooses to complete the bachelor’s degree with an accelerated major in cyber security, additional coursework will include IT 232, IT 328, IT 422, IT 408 and IT 482.

To apply for the certificate program in cyber security, go to the online application and follow the instructions for non-degree students. If you wish to complete the additional five courses to earn the bachelor’s degree with an accelerated major in cyber security, you must apply following all of the admission requirements for the bachelor’s degree program.
