Each year, the Elmhurst College Alumni Association honors individual passion, commitment and achievement by bestowing a variety of awards. These awards include:
Senior of the Year
This award goes to a well-rounded Elmhurst College senior who exemplifies a commitment to scholastic aptitude, a dedication to campus involvement and a passion for continuing the Elmhurst College tradition. See all past Senior of the Year winners here.
Alumni Merit Award
This award recognizes alumni who have attained outstanding achievement in their community, country, church or educational endeavor. See previous recipients of the award here, or nominate an outstanding alumnus or alumna to receive this year's award.
The Dr. Andrew K. Prinz Faculty and Staff Merit Award
The Prinz Faculty Merit Award recognizes past and current members of the College's faculty or staff who have a demonstrated commitment to Elmhurst students and alumni. Past winners of the award include Andrew K. Prinz, professor of urban studies from 1969 to 2003, for whom the award was named. We invite you to nominate a staff or faculty member for this award.
Rev. Albert Buck/Alumni Association Student Award
Supported by the estate of the late Rev. Albert W. Buck '31, this award helps defray the costs of studying abroad for one Elmhurst student each year.
