The Third Annual Niebuhr Forum on Religion in Public Life

Ross Douthat

Thursday, October 11, 2012
Frick Center, Founders Lounge
7:00 PM

A Catholic conservative and the youngest opinion columnist in the history of The New York Times, Ross Douthat is the author of Bad Religion: How We Became a Nation of Heretics, a compelling critique of contemporary Christianity. In the face of self-centered spirituality (on the left) and wealth-obsessed evangelicalism (on the right), he advocates a return to authentic tradition and a sense of genuine community. Tickets available at the door or online at Free for Elmhurst College students, faculty, staff and alumni.
