The Trojan Women

Mill Theatre

By Euripides
Adapted and directed by Andrew Behling

Troy’s captive women, royalty and commoners alike, await their fates at the hands of Greek conquerors after the invasion and destruction of their home. This adaptation, drawn from translations by Gilbert Murray and Edith Hamilton, text from Homer’s The Illiad, Seneca’s Troades, and devised material from the ensemble, aims to find new life in an ancient tragedy that some have called the greatest anti-war play ever written.

Performances run Thursday-Sunday, April 27-30, and Thursday-Saturday, May 4-6. Thursday-Saturday performances begin at 8:00 p.m.; Sunday performance is at 2:00 p.m.
