At the Patterson Center for the Health Professions, you’ll find plenty of support as you choose courses and navigate a path to the career of your dreams. Starting as early as your first week on campus, you will meet regularly with an expert advisor who knows what you need at each step of the way.
Ms. Leoni holds a degree in social work with a concentration in gerontology. Having an extensive knowledge of all aspects of student development, she actively involves health care students in volunteer and clinical opportunities, oversees student practicum experiences and advises students. Ms. Leoni has received several special honors at the College, including Organization Advisor of the Year and the Administrative Excellence Award. She is a member of the National Association of Advisors to the Health Professions.
Ms. Ashauer came to work in the Patterson Center after developing a strong background in student development. She advises students in addition to coordinating programs and activities for the Center. She also implements the recommendation committee process, helps students understand the procedure for applying to professional schools, assists students with personal statement and resume writing, and conducts mock interviews. She is a member of the National Association of Advisors to the Health Professions.
