Applicants for the master of science in computer information systems must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university/college. A general knowledge of computer programming and proficiency in a programming language, especially VB.NET, is expected.
Prerequisite courses may be recommended for students without a bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related work experience. The program director will determine the need for and recommend the prerequisites, if needed.
The program does not require students to submit graduate examination scores. All students must attend a summer online workshop before beginning the program.
