Ryan McElrath, CTO at Americaneagle.com

Ryan McElrath, chief technology officer at Americaneagle.com, a Park Ridge web hosting company with a staff of 165, has hired a half-dozen graduates of the Elmhurst MCIS program as programmers:

“Americaneagle uses the Microsoft programming language, ASP.net, and Elmhurst is one of the few colleges that trains its students in Microsoft, so they don’t need much training and can hit the ground running. They’ve been an excellent fit. The people we’ve hired also have common sense and a good work ethic,” he says.

“Elmhurst grads have worked on websites for the Chicago Bears, the Chicago Transit Authority and Fannie May Candies.”
