Hiring friendly and enthusiastic students to work our front counter. You will be the first point of contact for students, families, faculty and other staff answering any questions they may have regarding a variety of issues that our office is responsible for. Job includes: scanning and double checking documents, special projects, assistance with Commencement and general office help. Federal Work Study required.
Tutors are needed to provide writing assistance to members of the Elmhurst College community. Tutors must have strong writing skills, as well as a solid understanding of the writing process and rhetorical concerns. Additionally tutors are expected to support independent learning, guiding and encouraging students to develop their own personal strategies to be successful writers. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.

Student help desk technicians needed. This position assists students, faculty, and staff with College technology account issues, computer and software support, and smart classroom A/V troubleshooting. Students also supports equipment installations. Some technical support proficiency is preferred, but customer service, e-mail, and phone etiquette are necessary. Students who will hold sophomore or junior status in Fall 2016 are preferred. The start date for these positions may be early to mid-summer, and applicants should intend to continue employment beyond summer if hired.
Student employee needed to perform basic office duties, including phones, dispatching work orders via online system or by radio, data entry, creating and updating documents, sorting mail, filing, scanning, copying, emailing, etc in support of the secretarial staff and department managers. Strong computer background with Excel and MS Office, standard office equipment and good communication skills. We are seeking an employee who can continue working with us during the academic year.
The Elmhurst College Student Ambassador program is a student group established to assist the Office of Admission in providing prospective students with positive and accurate information about the College. These students will work for the Office of Admission in a variety of ways, including conducting guided campus tours, attending on-campus programs, and hosting prospective students overnight in the residence halls. Last, Student Ambassadors assisting Admission Counselors with various office projects as needed. We are looking for students who will be sophomores and above in fall 2016.
Football Filmers needed. Must be able to report to school August 13th for Fall camp. Must also be present at all practices (3:00pm to 6:00pm in the fall) and possibly all games including road games that may require an overnight stay. This is a federal work study only job. Start date is March 28, 2016 and must be committed to coming back in the fall.

Student night custodian. Flexible nights and hours beginning at 11 PM. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and must be in good physical condition. Assist full time Night Custodians with trash and recycling removal from the academic buildings, vacuuming with a backpack vacuum, wet mopping, dust mopping and other physical activities.
