Tutors are needed to provide writing assistance to members of the Elmhurst College community in the Learning Center. Tutors must have strong writing and communication skills, as well as a solid understanding of the writing process and rhetorical concerns. Additionally tutors are expected to support independent learning, guiding and encouraging students to develop their own personal strategies to be successful writers. Students from all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Provides basic customer service and clerical support in order to accomplish assigned tasks related to student life. Responsible for hosting workshops for student organization leaders regrading resources. policies and procedures. Assist the Office of Student Activities & Frick Center in running the Student Organization Center. Responsible for providing basic customer service and clerical support in order to accomplish assigned tasks related to student life. Hours needed: Tuesdays: 12:30 pm- 1:30 pm; Wednesdays; 6 pm -8:30 pm; Saturdays 5 pm- 7 pm. Must be willing to work some weekend and evening hours. Federal Work Study required.

Student night custodian. Flexible nights and hours beginning at 11 PM. Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds and must be in good physical condition. Assist full time Night Custodians with trash and recycling removal from the academic buildings, vacuuming with a backpack vacuum, wet mopping, dust mopping and other physical activities. Federal Work Study preferred.
Assist the Custodial Services Department with moving furniture and boxes 8 to 20 hours per week (flexible days and hours.) Must be able to life at least 50 pounds and be in good physical condition. Two positions open immediately, but no duties involved during the holiday break, December 24th through January 2nd.
