The President’s Society honors the legacy of leaders whose vision and philanthropy have guided Elmhurst College for more than a century.
This prestigious giving society is inspired by leaders such as Thomas Bryan, a friend of Abraham Lincoln and the most prominent early resident of Elmhurst. He provided the frontier land that is now our campus to our first president, Carl Frederick Kranz, and his students.
We also acknowledge the leadership of Timothy Lehmann, who opened the College’s doors to women and students of color, and of Genevieve Staudt, a longtime dean. “For her, education was a way of social and personal redemption,” said the late Rudolf Schade, Elmhurst professor, archivist and benefactor.
We invite you to join us as we reach for new levels of service and distinction while educating leaders of tomorrow.
President's Society members qualify annually for one of four giving circles:
|Platinum Circle||$10,000 and more|
Members of the President's Society receive invitations to the annual President’s Appreciation Dinner and other special events. Donors also are recognized in the College's Contributors Report (at their discretion).
