Schedule of Events

Plan to join us on the Elmhurst College campus in October for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2016! Festivities take place October 7-9 and offer a full weekend of fun. Below is a tentative schedule of events for our 2016 celebrations, which includes class reunions, theatre productions, alumni association receptions, tailgate parties, and Bluejay football.

Thursday, October 6

Fifty-Year Club Friday*

Fifty-Year Club members (all that have graduated prior to or in 1966), family and friends are invited to spend the day on campus familiarizing yourself with the College today and reminiscing with your classmates over the memories of yesterday.

Fifty-Year Club Afternoon Gathering with College Administrators and Students

To conclude this special day, members of the Fifty-Year Club are invited to tea, coffee and sweets as you get to know the College’s administrators, including our new President Troy VanAken, and students.

Join us for this special opportunity to honor the 2016 Alumni Merit and Dr. Andrew K. Prinz Faculty/Staff Merit award recipients. This year's honorees include: Elizabeth Dudek '73 for her Distinguished Service to Society, Rev. Robert Ullman '71, for his Distinguished Service to Alma Mater, Anna Martin '09 for the Young Alumni Award, and Susan Moninger for the Dr. Andrew K. Prinz Faculty/Staff Merit Award. We look forward to recognizing and celebrating our alumni and faculty's many accomplishments with the Elmhurst College community.

A reception wit Dr. Troy VanAken and his wife Annette is being held for all EC Loyal members. EC Loyal recognizes generous alumni and friends who faithfully contribute to the College every year. Donors become members when they have supported Elmhurst for three consecutive years, and they maintain their membership by providing ongoing annual philanthropic support to the College. Gifts of any amount - and to any area of the College - are counted toward EC Loyal membership. New this year, we are honored to recognize lifetime members of EC Loyal. These donors supported the College consistently for twenty years or more.

Twelfth Annual Alumni Exhibition

Exhibition Dates: October 8-22, 2016
This popular exhibition, which opens Homeocming Weekend, features new works by Department of Art alumni. Generations of art graduates display work in a wide variety of media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and graphic design. The opening reception, shared with alumni from the Physics Department, celebrates the 43rd birthday of the Elmhurst College Particle Accelerator.
