Elmhurst College welcomes international students. On our classic American campus, you'll find students of many ages and from nearly every religious, racial and ethnic background. We draw students from many foreign countries and almost all 50 states. We also offer merit-based scholarships to help international students finance their education.
How to Apply
Prospective students who are neither citizens of the United States nor permanent residents of the United States should submit the following to the Office of Admission:
If you are applying for transfer admission, also submit an official transcript from each college or university attended. If your transcripts are not in English, you must submit both an official or certified copy in the original language, as well as a certified translation in English. Students with prior college/university level credit MUST have an official course-by-course evaluation completed by Educational Credential Evaluators or World Educational Services.
For Fall Term: apply between December 1 and April 15, or until all spaces are filled.
For Spring Term: apply between October 1 and December 1.
Qualified applicants should show evidence of their ability to successfully complete college-level work in English. We look for minimum scores of:
Students not able to meet these required scores should upgrade their English language proficiency at an ELS language center, where they must complete the certificate for the ELS-level 112.
