Introduction to Microeconomics/Macroeconomics

The following are selected resources available in the library and on the Internet.

Please note that most of the links listed below will not work if you are accessing this page from off campus. Finding Books

You can locate books owned by the library using Illinet Online.

If a book appears in the catalog, but is not available at Elmhurst, you can request the item directly in Illinet Online. Please ask a librarian if you need assistance. Books not available through Illinet may be ordered through our online Interlibrary Loan book request form.

Finding Articles

• ABI_Inform ~ select full-text articles.
• Business and Company Resource Center ~ while this full-text database often focuses on company information, you can find several articles on accounting by typing in your term (for example, "aggregate demand") in the Subjects in Article box.
• Business Source Elite ~ select full-text articles.
• Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe ~ also called Academic Universe; full-text articles from both newspapers and journals; click the Business link to gain access to business journals and information.
• Wall Street Journal ~ full-text articles from 1985 to the present.

What if the article I want is not full text?

• Use Illinet Online to determine if the library owns the journal in print or in microfilm.
• Check to see if the journal (e.g., Journal of Asian Economics) is available in another database by searching for it in the Alphabetical List of Journals and Magazines Available Online.
• You can also use Interlibrary Loan to request materials the library does not own.
