The books that L.M. Montgomery write I believe are challenge level books. The books contains some words that are not used in our
present day and age. I believe though that her books could take any girl back to a day and age where life was simple. Where a boy
could call you "Carrots" and you could break your slate over his head. A place where a girl could walk into a field and dream of
their adulthood. Lucy takes you through many of Anne's troubles and accomplishments, a few in being that she was rewarded a
scholarship to College, or when she receives money for her recitation of a poem of the "Highway Man." This book gives hope to
girls all over the world, and lets girls know that they can accomplish what ever goals they set for themselves. Pick up a book by
L.M. Montgomery and be
swept up into Prince Edward Island and follow Anne, Emily, and Pat through
their lives!
