There has always been as special
place in my heart for the teachers who have touched my life. They have
inspired me and allowed me to find the strengths in myself that I never would
have seen on my own. They have made me feel special and unique and that I
could touch the sky. Never did I feel that I was not good enough or
that I should give up. I had amazing teachers to motivate and support
me. Having a teacher tell you that she is proud of you can be the most
powerful thing that could ever be said. For these reasons and more,
I have always dreamed of being a teacher. I want to be able to leave
a lasting impression on the lives of these precious children.
I believe that children are little people with enormous hearts and a world of imagination. All children are capable of learning and I want each and every one of my students to know this. Children are gifts that keep on giving day after day. I love being with children and learning from them. They teach me how to be a kid again and how to find the creativity that is deep inside me. Being able to touch the lives of children is the best feeling in the world. I have loved every day that I have been able to be in the classroom with these amazing children sharing with them and letting them know that I care. I can not wait until the day that I can do this each and every day.
