Lois Lowry is an amazing woman who has literally been through the war and back.  Her life has made her a very strong woman and it is obvious in her work.  Lois Lowry is a complex person who has a lot of parts to her.  She is made up of many emotions and her writing reflects her life and her passions.  From her life before writing, to her writing creations, to why she writes what she does, her life and her career are fascinating.  As I studied Lois Lowry I was able to slowly peal away the layers that make her so special and in doing so, I discovered a very unique individual.
