My name is Lisa Hanley, and I want to be an educator.  I am currently studying to become a special educator for people with disabilities.    I believe that everyone can learn and will want to learn if they are given the opportunity to.  I have an enourmous passion to work with students  who do not have the supports to currently succeed in the classroom.  It is my desire to teach these students strategies and show them supports to succeed in the classroom. I have worked, volunteered, and observed in many classrooms with many students with and without disabilities of a variety of ages.  I have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy, every moment I have spent and will spend in the classroom.  To be a teacher you have to be a special person, a person who has a passion and a drive to work with the future of our world, a person who is knowledgable on many topics.  You need to be a person who has a great sense of humor,  a person who is flexible.  Most of all, you need to be a person who is a role model.  I believe that I have all of these qualities and will continue to perfect these qualities.
