         Judy Blume is truly an author af her time.  Judy writes books that all young readers can relate to.  Her books

are and up front about what it is like to be a teenager. For 33 years, Judy has been relating to readers of all ages with

her books.  Her books deal with a variety of issues, including relationships, sex, family, and adolescence.  Some of her most

famous and well known books include Freckle Juice, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Superfudge, and Fudge-a-Mania.

A few of Judy's well known books have been banned.  Her most famous banned book is Forever. Forever is a book about a

teenage relationship, and like most Judy Blume books, it deals with mature themes like sex and love.  Judy's books have

been translated into twenty-something languages and more than 75 million copies of her books have been sold!!
 
         Judy currently lives on islands up and down the East Coast with her husband. She has three children and one

grandchild.  Judy is still writing, with her current writings focusing on Fudge.
