I desire to transfer my knowledge through my heart to my students. For my students to eventually have their hearts in their education is one of my goals. I understand that I am and always will be a student learning everyday from not only my mentors and peers but also my students. I plan on learning alongside with my students in the safe environment, which I strive to establish and make conducive to learning. I also believe that mistakes should be recognized for their learning values. Teaching to students’ needs and interests is also a conviction of mine. I will encourage students to individually reach for their higher ground. I will facilitate them along the way to make it possible. Furthermore, I believe in respecting others and aim to teach my students how to live as responsible and compassionate members of society.
What I find most exciting, however, is when in the classroom I truly feel
that this is the place where I belong.
