• Project Muse ~full text of over 200 humanities and the social sciences journals articles, from 1996 to the present (including the journal Eighteenth-Century Studies). All full text.

• JSTOR ~ JSTOR collects titles generally up to the year 2000 if available. 21st century journals are not in this database. All full text.

• Gale's Literature Resource Center ~excellent in-depth information about authors and some specific works, including some critical articles, bibliographies, and reviewed websites. All full text. 

• Academic Search Premier ~generalist database with some of the most current journal articles, but contains mostly mass-media resources, not as many scholarly sources. Some full text available.
