If
you are accessing this page from off campus, the links to most library databases
will not work. To use these resources, go to the Library
Web Page, where you can connect to Articles and Databases, Reference Sources,
and Electronic Journals and Newspapers after providing your Elmhurst College
login and password. If you don't know your E.C. login or password, you'll want
to see Computer Services, Room 107 CSTC.
Assignment
~ Abstracts for Students
Examine
the list of journal articles received in class and choose 2 which will be
abstracted and reported in class in a 5-10 minute oral report and a one-page
abstract. To determine who does what article, follow these instructions:
Each
student selects 9 different articles, 3 from each of these categories: 1-14;
15-29; and 30-43. Select by number and group them by rank of preference in
clss, as instructed, on a piece of paper. There will be an attempt made for
each student to be assigned articles of her/his choice. A one-page abstract
will be handed to the instructor at the time of reporting and students should
take notes on the article being reported by others.
Please
note that Geographic Review is actually a typo and should be Geographical
Review on the list.
