Federated Search Engine

  • Use Webfeat to search several databases at once~ This link accesses our Webfeat federated search engine. This tool allows you to perform keyword searches in groupings of databases (such as English and Foreign Languages and Literatures) or our entire database, all at once.

 

Literary databases (includes biographic information)

  • Project Muse ~full text of over 200 humanities and the social sciences journals articles, from 1996 to the present. All full text.

  • JSTOR ~ JSTOR collects titles up to the year 2000 if available. Current issues of journals are not in this database. All full text.


 

Film criticism and other general databases

  • Academic Search Premier~ Includes the full text of Film History from 2001 to the present, Film Culture from 1992-1996, Films in Review from 1990-1996, Journal of Popular Film and Television from 1990 to the present, and the Journal of Popular Culture from 1990 to the present.

  • Wilson Select Full Text Plus ~ Includes the full text of Sight and Sound from 2000-present, Film Criticism from 1995-present, and Film Quarterly from 1998-2002.

  • Periodical Abstracts ~ Includes the full text of Film Comment from 1992-present.

  • Proquest Newspapers ~ Includes the Chicago Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, and the New York Times.
