Federated Search Engine

  • Use Webfeat to search several databases at once~ This link accesses our Webfeat federated search engine. This tool allows you to perform searches in groups of databases (such as English and Foreign Languages and Literatures) or our entire database, all at once.

 

Literary databases (critical articles about authors & specific literary works, some popular media)

  • Project Muse ~full text of over 200 humanities and the social sciences journals articles, from 1996 to the present. Full text available.

  • JSTOR ~ JSTOR collects titles up to the year 2000 if available. Current issues of journals are not in this database. Full text available.

How to full text from an article citation in our databases

If...you don't see an option like "HTML Full Text" or "PDF Full Text" next to the article citation-
Then...look for , or , or "Find this resource with SFX." Clicking on this option will open a new window.



If you see an "Online Full Text" option available, clicking on "Go" will take you to the full text.



If you don't see the "Online Full Text" option, then you can see if  we own the journal in print by clicking on the "We may own this option" ororder the article by clicking on the "Request this item through Interlibrary Loan" link.
