• CINAHL Plus with Full Text ~ The Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health database provides coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health. Includes consumer and professional-level information.

• Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition~ Selected full text includes nearly 480 scholarly full text journals, focusing on many medical disciplines.

• Medline Plus with Full Text~ A comprehensive source of full text for medical journals, providing full text for nearly 1,200 journals. Of those, more than 1,000 have cover-to-cover indexing in MEDLINE, and there are more than 1,400,000 full-text articles dating back to 1965.

• Academic Search Complete~ A very good general database with several nursing journals, as well as journals in related fields.

Comprehensive Computer Training (a little bit of everything)

• Microsoft's training & tips website at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/training/default.aspx  is a pretty good place to start learning how to use Windows XP and the Windows Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, et. cetera).

• "Jan's Illustrated Computer Literacy 101" website at http://www.jegsworks.com/Lessons/ is a great beginner website for those new to the world of computing- covers all the basics.


• Learnthat.com at http://www.learnthat.com/computers/ is a directory with online computer tutorials for several different areas.

• A good email tutorial can be found at http://www.corkrum.com/tutorials/email.html.

• A Micrsoft Word tutorial is available at http://www.baycongroup.com/wlesson0.htm.

•  The Library's Blackboard Help Page can be found at http://www.elmhurst.edu/library/ecresources/bbhelp/. There is also an online manual you can browse, but it's most useful for advanced users.
