A Few Tips on Searching for Books and Articles-
*Try each of the terms England, Britain, United Kingdom and Great
Britain. Different databases use different geographic terms.
*If the American spelling of a term is not productive, try the British spelling.
For example, labour instead of labor.
Journals
The library has many electronic databases which may be helpful
for your assignments.
PAIS
International is a bibliographic index with abstracts covering the full
range of political, social, and
public policy issues.
WilsonSelectPlus is a full-text article database covering the social sciences and current issues.
Newspapers
Academic
Universe (Lexis-Nexis) ~ clicking the News link accesses a variety of US
and World
newspapers.
