The Web sites listed below are intended as starting points for researching cultures on the Internet. Be sure to evaluate each Web site before using the information in your project. Your textbook, Humanity: an Introduction to Cultural Anthropology, 6th ed. has an online companion site with Web resources relating to each chapter. Allyn & Bacon, the publisher of your other textbook, also has a Web site with resources for anthropology study. Articles and Databases
Lexis-Nexis Academic Choose News, then look at both General News and World News to find information from a variety of sources.
Newspaper Source A selection of domestic and foreign newspapers and other media news sources, including television and radio programs.
Chicago Tribune Search full text articles from 1985-date.
New York Times Search full text articles from 1999-date. Available on campus only.
Academic Search Elite A general database that contains both scholarly and popular journal sources, many in full text. Be sure to evaluate the sources in these databases before using them.
