Using the Digital Drop Box
(Students)
The Digital Drop Box can be used to turn in papers and other documents electronically. Students can share their papers with classmates, and faculty members can return papers with comments typed on the documents themselves.
Some notes about the Digital Drop Box:
-
Students and instructors access the Digital Drop Box differently.
- For students to be able to user the Drop Box, the Tools area must be enabled. If you don't see a button labeled Tools on the left side of your screen, ask your instructor.
- While you are supposedly able to add comments on the "Send File" screen, these comments don't seem to come through properly. This is a bug.
-
Under Courses in which you are participating, click the link of the desired course.
-
Click the "Tools" button, located to the left of the screen.

You can delete items that have been added to the Drop Box but have not yet been sent. Once an item is sent, if cannot be retrieved. Therefore, it's a good idea to make sure you've selected the right item before you commit to sending it.
