THINK OF TWO CLASSES IN WHICH YOU CURRENTLY TAKE NOTES OR HAVE FORMERLY TAKEN NOTES.  THESE TWO CLASSES WILL BECOME YOUR BENCHMARK FOR NOTE TAKING. PRINT A COPY OF THE THIRTEEN POINTS OR PICK UP A COPY AT THE LEARNING CENTER.  RESPOND TO EACH ITEM BY CIRCLING YES OR NO.

ANALYSIS:  The more YES answers you have as a total, the better you are at taking class notes.  BUT you should look at the three time categories for note taking.  Are your YES answers clustered in only one time frame?  If so, you may not be getting as much information as possible from your notes.
