Holocaust Guestship Lecture
Gerda Weissmann Klein, "All But My Life"

Holocaust survivor whose story inspired an Oscar-winning documentary film. Klein spent three years in a concentration camp before being liberated (May 1945) by U.S. Army Lieutenant Kurt Klein, whom she later married. Her memoir became an Emmy and Academy Award winning documentary titled “One Survivor Remembers.” She is also the author of several books, including:
- All But My Life
- A Boring Evening at Home
- Hours After: Letters of Love and Longing in War's Aftermath
- Promise of a New Spring: the Holocaust and Renewal


Free, with donations encouraged to support the Holocaust Education project. Reception to follow.

"The Gate"

Showing of a documentary about the recent trip of an ethnically and religiously diverse group to the Nazi concentration camps. Issues of prejudice, racism and discrimination in today's society are addressed. The producers, Li Yeh and Esther Garfin, will be there to discuss their experiences and answer questions about the project.
