This guide tells you what you need to know about registration and getting started as a newly admitted graduate student.
Companies now more than ever are expecting market research professionals to be specialists in the field. General marketing education won’t provide the specialization companies seek, creating new opportunities for professionals with focused training in market research and consumer behavior.
The master of market research program at Elmhurst is designed to prepare students for careers in market research. Those successful in the field are detail oriented and have notable analytical, critical thinking and communication skills. As a result, our unique curriculum emphasizes a qualitative and quantitative approach highlighting strategy development, critical thinking and problem solving as it relates to market research.
At Elmhurst, you’ll learn a solutions-oriented approach to problem solving in marketing and how to use research tools for ethical decision making. You’ll get hands-on research experience with both large and small businesses and non-profit organizations. And you’ll acquire the skills to develop and implement innovative market research solutions.
This 11 course, part-time program is offered fully online through the Elmhurst College Online Center, and students may complete the program in as little as two years. Students are able to take courses and educational paths tailored to their needs to advance to the level of education they professionally and academically desire. Elmhurst also offers two graduate-level certificates in market research for students who currently do not wish to complete a full master’s program.
Funding for the MMR program is provided by the D.K. Hardin Center for Market Research.
