Curriculum and Course Sequence

Students in Elmhurst’s master in project management program are required to successfully complete 10 courses (eight core courses and two electives), for a total of 7.50 credits (30 semester hours).

Students who complete the MPM program are eligible to enroll in a complimentary PMP Exam Preparation Review Course to prepare for PMP certification.

Program Format

The master of project management is a part-time program that can be completed in as little as two years. Coursework is offered in the EU Flex format and students can attend onsite, online or both. Classroom-based activities allow participation onsite or by webinar. The webinars are recorded so students can view them anytime. Students complete coursework through eight-week sessions and may begin in the spring, summer or fall term. Electives may be taken any time during the program.

Individuals who are not enrolled in or do not complete the PMP® program may enroll in MPM 590 PMP® Exam Preparation Review Course for $800.
