B.M. or B.S. in Music Business

Elmhurst offers two degree programs that prepare students for careers in music business including music and media, recording industry, music products, live music components, production and more. The bachelor of music offers a heavier concentration in music, while the bachelor of science is weighted more heavily in business. Each program has a strong liberal arts component, providing graduates with well-rounded professional qualifications.

Our music business program draws on the vast resources of the Chicago area for internships, outstanding faculty and career opportunities. As one of the oldest music business programs in the world, it offers students unique opportunities in preparing for careers in the music industry.
