Join us for the 2015 season of the Elmhurst College Summer Music Academy (ECSMA), a five day summer chamber music festival for strings, winds, brass, and percussion, where your creativity takes center stage!
In addition to conservatory-level instruction for your instrument and chamber ensemble, you can participate in special seminars on topics including Composition and related computer programs, Preparing for College Applications and Auditions, Working in A Recording Studio and more. Come to the beautiful campus of Elmhurst College to enjoy this fun event!

Who should attend?
Winds, brass, percussion students ages 8th grade, through adult. Collegiate and adult string players.
High School and Middle School string players are invited to participate in Credo Prelude Chicago, which will be held concurrently with ECSMA on the campus at Elmhurst College. For information and to register visit, Credo Prelude Chicago.
Who teaches the classes?
At Elmhurst, we pride ourselves on our music faculty's depth and breadth of professional experience. Among our full-time and applied faculty are members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Symphony Chorus and Lyric Opera, and many highly regarded area performing ensembles. Additionally, all students will have the opportunity to visit our professional Recording Studio, and composition students will work closely with Dr. David Devasto, assistant professor of composition in the Music Department at Elmhurst College, to learn about composition, transposition, and popular computer programs. What's more, these top-flight professionals are great teachers who create a friendly environment where they can work with their students as individuals. Our chamber music festival is designed so that you will get the personal attention you need to develop your talents.
How much does it cost?
Participants pay $300.
Discounts available for early applications and preformed small ensembles (i.e. brass quartet, woodwind quintet, etc.)
