Emily Labrecque graduated from Elmhurst College in 2010 with a double major in history and theological studies/Christian ministry and a minor in intercultural studies focused on social justice. After graduating from Elmhurst, she served as a member of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps in a drop-in center for homeless young adults in Los Angeles. Among other positions, she has served as an intern at a church in California, a hospital chaplain in Michigan, and a sabbatical pastor for a UCC church in Champaign, Illinois. Emily earned her master of divinity degree from the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California.

Professor Inamul Haq teaches in the Religious Studies Department at Elmhurst College and at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. His area of expertise is Islamic Studies. Previously he has been principal of two Islamic day schools in Chicago. Mr. Haq is founding member of the International Strategy and Policy Institute, an Oak Brook-based think tank. He served on the Chicago Committee of Human Rights Watch and on the Board of the Cardinal Bernadine Center of Catholic Theological Union. Mr. Haq is also a honorary Imam in Chicago. He has been frequently interviewed by local media, including the Chicago Tribune and PBS regarding issues covering Islam and Muslims. Professor Haq studied at International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan, and at Drew University in New Jersey.
