A recent publication by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing indicated that 92% of master’s entry students had secured jobs within 4 to 6 months after the completion of their programs. And the U.S. Department of Labor states that, “employment for nurses is expected to grow 26% from 2010 to 2020, faster than the average,” making nursing the top occupation in terms of growth through 2020.
Upon completing the nursing master’s entry program and after passing the appropriate licensure and certificate exams, your degree will provide you with the opportunity to begin employment as a registered nurse and/or clinical nurse leader. Job opportunities include, but are not limited to, working in hospitals, clinics and community settings.
