eTranscript Information for Students

It is a secure, digitally signed PDF of your official Elmhurst University transcript. The eTranscript has an additional first page that provides information regarding the document itself. The eTranscript is downloaded from a secure website as a PDF document and is protected by an electronic signature. The electronic signature guarantees that the document was sent from the Elmhurst University Office of Registration and Records and the document has not been altered.

The content of the transcripts are identical. The eTranscript has an additional first page that provides information about the document itself.

Yes, it is an official document from Elmhurst University. The content of the transcript is identical to a printed transcript. The electronic signature of the University Registrar appears on the transcript.

The requestor is notified when the recipient received the official transcript. Delivery is within minutes of the request being processed (more reliable than surface mailing with faster delivery). More organizations are insisting on electronic documents and are not willing to accept paper documents.

It is your responsibility to verify that the recipient will accept delivery of an electronic PDF transcript.

Your eTranscript can be downloaded for up to 30 days after it is originally sent. After 30 days, your eTranscript will no longer be available for download. You will have to place another order.

You may use any web browser (be sure to have the most recent version) and you must have a copy of Adobe Reader, version 6.04 or higher installed.

Once the transcript has been retrieved, no edits can be made to the order and you will need to make a new transcript request. The regular fee will be charged again.

You will need to place a separate transcript request for each institution you would like the transcript sent to.
