On May 30 prior to Baccalaureate, all graduates must check in between 8:00–9:00 a.m. at Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel. All graduates are required to check in with the Registrar.
The baccalaureate service is a private moment for the graduates during which they, the President, the Dean and the Chaplain reflect on the meaning of an Elmhurst College education. It takes place at 9:00 a.m. on May 30 in Hammerschmidt Memorial Chapel. Attendance is mandatory. Graduates should wear their caps and gowns to Baccalaureate.
Commencement is scheduled to take place at 10:00 a.m., May 30, on the Elmhurst College Campus Mall. In case of severe weather, the ceremony will be held in R.A. Faganel Hall. This information will be available after 7:30 a.m. on May 30 by calling (630) 516-2000 or by checking this website.
Tickets for graduation guests are not needed if Commencement is held outdoors on the Elmhurst College Campus Mall. If severe weather prevents an outdoor commencement ceremony, we will move to R.A. Faganel Hall. Because indoor seating is limited, each graduate was given three guest tokens during the Grad Finale.
Handicapped parking and seating will be available. See this page for a parking map.
Watch It Live
Spring Commencement 2015 can be viewed live online beginning at 9:00 a.m. on May 30 by visiting www.bluejaytv.com.

Graduation Announcements and Class Rings
Formal graduation announcements and class rings may be purchased at the Book Cellar in Goebel Hall. Contact the Book Cellar directly for other commencement accessories at (630) 617-3185.
All "incompletes" ("I" grades) must be resolved and submitted to the Office of Registration and Records by May 5. This deadline supersedes any date made with individual instructors. Students will not be allowed to graduate if "incompletes" remain on the record, including any received during Spring Term 2015.
Senior grades are due on the web May 26, 2015. Prospective graduates who fail Spring Term 2015 courses and do not meet minimum graduate requirements will be informed by May 28, 2015, that they are being removed from the May 2015 graduation listing.
Tuition and Fee Payment
Financial obligations to the College must be satisfied in order for your degree to be awarded. You are encouraged to contact the Office of Student Financial Services at (630) 617-3015 with questions regarding the discharge of financial obligations.
Graduates Not Attending Commencement
Graduates may pick up their diplomas starting June 1, 2015. Unclaimed diplomas will be mailed to the student at the address on file starting June 8, 2015.
At the end of June, a copy of your final transcript (for your records), indicating your course grades, degree, major(s), minor and honors, will be mailed to you free of charge, compliments of the Elmhurst College Alumni Association. Requests for additional transcripts may be made on the Registration and Records website. Transcripts are released only if financial obligations to the College have been satisfied.
