Regrigerator (NOT to exceed 3.0 cubic feet or draw more than 1.5 amps)
Shower supplies and sandals
Towels, washcloths and toiletries
Trash can (recycling bins are provided; trash cans are not)

Amplified instruments and drums
Any item with an exposed heating element
Candles (not permitted even if unburned)
Foam toppers for mattresses (sometimes called egg crate toppers)
Grills (indoor or outdoor)
Microwaves (permitted in apartments/houses only, one per unit)
Pets, except fish
All of the furniture can be lofted without the use of any tools or additional materials. For diagrams or potential arrangements, please see furniture configurations.
Students residing in Elm Park, or Prospect apartments and in College houses may want to bring a couch or comfy chairs as no living room furniture is provided. These units have complete bedroom furniture and a kitchen table with 4 chairs.
Elmhurst College is not responsible for damage, loss, or theft of personal possessions. It is recommended that residents obtain renter's insurance, either through their parents' policy or through a commercial carrier. Serial numbers of valuable possession should be recorded for insurance purposes. Contact the Office of Residence Life for further information.
