Strange Character Tips

If the html version of an exam or quiz displays strange characters instead of ordinary math symbols, try selecting View/Character Encoding/Western (if you use Mozilla) or View/Encoding/Western European (if you use Internet Explorer). Feel free to email me if the html version shows strange characters in your browser and this tip doesn't work.
