   April 3, 2004- The men's and women's outdoor track teams continued the 2004 outdoor season by running hosting the Elmhurst College Quadrangular. The men's team placed fourth with 119.5 points while the women's team placed sixth with seven points.

On the men's side, the day was highlighted by Cedric Jones (Grand Prairie, Texas-Sam Houston) winning the 100 meters in 11.09 seconds. Craig Tiede (Woodridge-Downers Grove South) won the 1,500 meters in 4:10.1 while Justin Stevens (Springfield-Auburn) took first place in the 5,00 meters in 15:31.4 John Hartmann (Woodruf, Wis.-Wauconda) captured the high jump crown by clearing a height of 1.93 meters.

Jones added a sixth place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 23.52 seconds. Kevin Lawence (Elmhurst-York) placed fifth in the 200 meters in 23:29. Scott Nowicki (Elmhurst-York) placed third in the 400 meters in 52.25 while Greg Briney (South Holland-Thornwood) finished fifth in the same event in 52.85. Mike Glosson (Aurora-Aurora Central Catholic) placed fifth in the 800 meters in 1:59.3 Dan Mohr (Barrington-Wauconda) added a second place finish in the javelin with a mark of 48.59 meters

The women's team scored their points in the 1,5,00 meters. Krista Phelps (LaCrosse, Wis.-LaCrosse Central) placed fifth in 4:59.4 while Erin Brice (Elk Grove Village-Elk Grove) finished right behind in sixth place in 5:00.5
