The next general meeting for TriBeta will be on April 15.
Initiation Ceremony
The initiation ceremony for new members will be held during protected hour on Thursday, May 1. More details coming soon!
Science Banquet
The year-end science banquet will be held during the evening of May 8 at Angelo's Ristorante & Banquets in Elmhurst. Dinner is free for members of Beta Beta Beta courtesy of Beta Beta Beta and the Elmhurst College Biology Department. Guest are welcome, and guest tickets are available for $25 each. Please RSVP by April 28.
2003 Graduates
If you are a senior graduating this May and would like to wear Beta Beta Beta honor cords and/or an honor medallion during your commencement ceremony, please email us ASAP with your order. Honor cords are $5/set and honor medallions are $30 each.

Volunteer Activities
The spring semester is full of volunteering activities for all TriBeta members and friends. Remember that each activity counts for 10 points and each member must accumulate at least 50 points to remain active in TriBeta.
Animal Welfare League
The League is eager to have us return for volunteer services. We are planning a date later this semester.
Wildlife Refuge Day
The Illinois Prairie Path needs help in the annual burning. We are hoping to participate in this activity. More details coming soon!

2002-2003 Volunteer Activities
- Our first activity was November 8 when we visited the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge and helped out for the afternoon. 5 TriBeta members helped out with office work and cared for the animals. Everyone had a good time (including the future pets!).
- On November 21, several TriBeta members helped out with the AED Blood Drive on campus.
- A group of Tri-Beta members went Christmas shopping with children from the HeadStart program in DuPage County on December 7. Everyone had a great time shopping for the children's families at Wal-Mart.
Dues
Anyone who hasn’t yet paid their dues, the due date was November 15th, 2002. Please be sure to send them in! You can direct your payment to our Treasurer, Margaret McCurdy, at Box #1037.
