The house is a 4 bedroom, 2 story, 8 years old, with a high efficiency
(>95%) natural gas furnace (computer thermostat 65 daytime, 72 evenings,
65 overnight), natural gas stove, and natural gas clothes drier. In the
summer central air conditioning is used when the temperature is above 85
degrees or above outside (thermostat at 77).
Spring time March and April may have higher than normal electricity due
to extensive use of fluorescent lights to grow spring flowers from seed
in the basement.
