 Review Ionic and Covalent Compounds

Introduction:

It is important to be able to look at a compound, identify the elements present, and identify the type of compound present. Once you have recognized the compound by the type of elements present, the next step is to be able to say something about the electron arrangments in the bonds.

Once you are able to do this, you are on the road to recognition of possible physical or chamical properties in compounds.

This review will test your abilities to to recognize the various types of compounds and bonding.
