Using All My Hummingbirds Have Alibis CD-ROM:

  1. Insert the All My Hummingbirds CD into the CD-ROM drive.
  2. Open “Macintosh HD” and the Music 344 folder.)
  3. In the Music 344 window, double-click the “HyperCard” icon.
  4. Once HyperCard opens, click once on the button labeled “All My Hummingbirds”
  5. When the Table of Contents appears, click on the name of any section to go there.

Navigating through the program:

Throughout the program, the shape of the cursor changes as you move it around the screen. The diagrams below explain what happens if you click when one of the following cursor shapes appears (and tells you where on the screen you can expect to see each shape).
 
Returns to the main table of contents (appears at top of screen)
Pauses the audio (appears at center of screen, or over musical examples)
Resumes the audio (appears at center of screen, or over musical examples)
Move to previous page or next page (appear at left & right sides of screen)
In All My Hummingbirds only, brings up visual options for listening to music; you can switch between Ernst's collage images, composer's commentary, or the score—score is especially helpful for following interaction between performers & computer (appears at bottom of screen)
