WHAT IS SAFE?
SAFE is a staff, administrator, and faculty group affirming the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Elmhurst College community members.
SAFE membership is open to ALL heterosexual, gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people who are working to develop individual attitudes, institutions, and a culture in which people are treated equally and free of oppression.
SAFE was formed to counter ignorance and prejudice, to promote dialogue and understanding, to foster greater awareness of issues facing GLBT people on campus, and to offer support to a vital segment of our campus community.
