| HIPPOGRIFF
The hippogriff is the result of the breeding of a male gryphon and a filly with the head, wings and front legs of a gryphon and the back and hind legs of a horse. It lives in the Rhiphaean Mountains and can move through the air more swiftly than lightning. Some of Charlemaignes' knights used hippogriffs as mounts in battle.
