Name the Entrepreneurship Initiative Competition
The Elmhurst Entrepreneurship Initiative has chosen its new name.
We are the E-celerator!
Thank you to all of the Elmhurst University students, faculty and staff who contributed name ideas and helped judge the finalists during the naming competition. While the winning name was a team effort, the Entrepreneurs Initiative gave special recognition to Oluwaseyi Adeolu, who received the most votes among students for her name submission.
Congratulations to Oluwaseyi, who won a Google Nest Mini prize!
Stay tuned for more from the E-celerator, and check the Elmhurst Entrepreneurs page for information on upcoming events and Entrepreneur in Residence hours.
Individuals submitting ideas were asked to explain why they came up with their name and how it fits the Elmhurst Entrepreneurship Initiative mission and vision.
- Innovative idea: We looked for a name that stands out and illuminates the innovative spirit of the initiative.
- Creativity: Entrants needed to engage their imaginations to come up with an interesting, fun and compelling name that drives interest and desire to participate in the initiative.
- Relevance to vision/mission: Proposed names needed to capture the core message in our vision and mission statements.
A panel of judges consisting of staff, faculty and students reviewed the submissions.
