Action Research Network
The Action Research Network provides a virtual space for graduates with experience conducting research to continue the process of asking questions, collecting data and analyzing teacher practices and student learning.
As a form of professional development, action research is an integral part of teachers’ ongoing professionalization and vibrancy. The network serves to connect teachers as professional colleagues and, potentially, as collaborators. It provides opportunities for teachers to share their teaching and research, support one anothers research projects and learn about the challenges and innovations of colleagues.
Ideally, it will bring teachers into a community of practice with opportunities for collaboration across classrooms and schools and between in-service teachers and teacher educators.
